Stella Alpina is our second shaving soap based on the Beta 4.2 Formulation.
Similarly to its predecessor, the Cosmo shaving soap, Stella Alpina is featured by a fantastic post-shave effect. By adding the Edelweiss Extract* (Leontopodium Alpinum) and Hazelnut Oil (Corylus Avellana), together with a new balancing of the other ingredients, we improved its overall performances during the shave.
*extract from the organically cultivated Swiss Alpine plant Edelweiss (Leontopodium alpinum Cass.) for cosmetic application and certified organic by ECOCERT, COSMOS, and NATRUE.

Usage advice
- cover the soap surface with a thin veil of hot water for few minutes. The quantity of water needed may vary depending on your water hardness and the rate of humidity of the soap, a correct quantity is when the whole soap surface is covered by water,
- soak a badger shaving brush (being it the best perfomer when it comes to water absorbing),
- rinse it well and then pour the thin veil of water that bloomed the soap on the knot, and then start loading (20-30 seconds),
- face/bowl lather without adding water.

Matus Bojnansky (verified owner) –
3 years ago I bought my first hard soap – Tundra Arctica by Saponifico Varesino formula 4.0 and I though its was the best shaving soap in the world. I was mistaken. After using the Beta 4.2 formula, which provides a thicker, more lubricious and longer lasting lather than the old one, I have to say, the improvement is very clear. I love using this soap. It provides a shaving experience unmatched by any other shaving soap I have tried. I look forward to trying the newest formulas following 4.2 eventually, but for now, this is the best I have experienced.
The soap aroma is beautiful and not overwhelming, citrus notes during shaving and a refreshing musky smell left after. Absolutely amazing.
The lather is so thick and lubricious, I didnt feel the blade of my razor even when shaving against the grain. The lather is also very lasting. After i lathered up, i could run my finger down my cheek without revealing my skin – thats how well it adheres to it. I giggled like a little boy when shaving, it was such a pleasure.
